Vegan Chocolate Glaze

This is the perfect glaze for donuts, cakes and muffins. It is vegan, dairy free and paleo and can be made keto and low carb too.

You can use this glaze in many different things: Not only for baked goods, but also for dipping fruits, as a sauce for your ice cream and lots more!



 

yields enough for one 8×4 (or 9×5) inch loaf cake or 12 muffins

for an 8 or 9 inch round cake multiply it by 1.5


Ingredients


  • 4 tbsp coconut oil

  • 4 tbsp cacao powder

  • 2 tbsp maple syrup

Instructions


Melt the coconut oil and combine it with the other ingredients.


Let it cool a little bit and pour it over your muffins, cake, etc.


Let it set on room temperature.

Notes


Sweetener: You can replace the maple syrup with any other sweetener you like.


Milk chocolate glaze: If you don't want such a dark glaze, you can replace one tbsp of the cacao powder with milk power. To keep it vegan, use coconut milk powder.
